24 March 2018. Kg Babagon Toki is one of the two villages located in the Babagon sub-catchment that supplies 57% of freshwater to residents of Kota Kinabalu and Penampang. (The large body of water in the photo above is the Babagon Dam).
We had a seminar on Payments for Ecosystem Services in which we brainstormed and discussed about the possibilities of designing some activities that could be funded by PES funding.

By end April 2018, Green Spider will complete the consultancy to develop State-Level Policy Options And Mechanisms For Conservation Finance and Payment For Ecosystem Services for the UNDP-GEF-Government of Malaysia project entitled “Biodiversity conservation in multiple use forest landscapes in Sabah, Malaysia”.
